Position Summary:
As a Laboratory Technician I, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory environment by performing various technical tasks essential for the analysis and processing of samples. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Receiving, labeling, and analyzing biological samples in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conducting experiments under controlled conditions to validate or refute hypotheses using advanced scientific methodologies.
  • Executing a range of laboratory procedures that require technical expertise.
  • Assisting in the digitization of both internal and external materials for professional review.
  • Scanning physical pathology slides to create digital representations for case evaluations.
  • Ensuring that digital images are properly linked to patient cases for comprehensive analysis.
  • Providing troubleshooting support for both visual assessments and laboratory equipment as needed.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a laboratory technician, specifically in the digitalization of pathology slides.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is required.

Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
