This individual will have the opportunity to work on diverse healthcare projects, contribute to the progress and work product of these initiatives, and meet project sponsor needs.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects, identifying and utilizing internal and external support resources to accomplish work goals.
- Leadership Development: Build a broad range of healthcare management skills, working effectively with physicians, administrative colleagues, and allied health staff to promote the team concept of medicine at Advocate Aurora Health.
- Process Improvement: Seek ways to continuously improve processes and outcomes, providing exceptional patient care, and studying and applying improvement methodologies, including data collection and analysis, group facilitation, and implementation strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in the systems strategic planning process, assisting in the development of other programs and services as assigned.
- Education: Recent graduate within one year prior to the start of the fellowship or fulfilling a one-year fellowship graduation requirement from a Master's-level program or a nationally accredited program and institution of higher learning in healthcare administration, business administration, or public health.
- Skills and Abilities: Possess skills, aptitude, and interest in attaining executive level within the healthcare field, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the progress and work product of healthcare initiatives.
