Job Summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Group Leader to join our team. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the plasma collection process, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our donors and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of phlebotomists and medical support staff to ensure efficient and effective plasma collection operations.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of donor data, including medical history, test results, and donation information.
  • Collaborate with center management to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on plasma collection procedures, medical protocols, and safety procedures.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to plasma collection, donor safety, or product quality.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 18 months experience in a medical or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Specialized medical or phlebotomy training preferred.
Working Conditions

The Group Leader will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires the ability to make decisions that have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit. The Group Leader must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation. The position requires occasional standing and walking, reaching, bending, and manual dexterity. The Group Leader may be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
