Job Title: Communications, MarketingJob Summary:

The National Community Reinvestment Coalition Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications, Marketing professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting communications and fundraising projects, including research, writing, web production, social media, and editing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and draft a variety of written content, including fact sheets, press releases, and social media posts.
  • Monitor and distribute articles via web, print, audio, and video.
  • Assist with media outreach and online marketing.
  • Build and update media contact lists.
  • Produce multimedia content, including articles, photos, and videos.
  • Attend and help with logistics for meetings and events.
  • Make routine postings to web and social media channels.
  • Draft and distribute press release templates, sample op-eds, and other content for use in local communities.
  • Support the creation and distribution of program-specific and organization-wide newsletters.
  • Perform other communications functions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in college or as a graduate student.
  • Some experience in the areas of work helpful.
  • High attention to detail.
  • High initiative and proactive leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, quickly, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, and able to build constructive and effective relationships.
  • Must possess critical- and strategic-thinking skills and apply them as appropriate.
  • Strong writing, editing, oral, research, digital, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google apps, and databases.
What We Offer:

This is a paid internship opportunity. Interns will receive a $1,800 stipend a month and are not to exceed 30 hours per week.
