Job Summary:

The Provider Enrollment Specialist is a critical role within the LifePoint Health Support Center, responsible for ensuring seamless provider enrollment and participation in health plans. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex payer processes and maintain accurate provider data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Request and manage provider participation in health plans to minimize delays or non-payment of claims.
  • Complete CAQH credentialing for new providers, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documents.
  • Communicate effectively with payers to resolve enrollment issues and obtain necessary identification numbers.
  • Maintain and update provider data, including demographics, medical documentation, and comments, in the CAQH database.
  • Monitor provider files for pending enrollments and request missing documents as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as processing applications, uploading documents, and enrolling providers.
  • Collaborate with market contacts to resolve enrollment issues and provide updates on provider status.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance payer background and/or enrollment, with a strong understanding of provider enrollment processes and payer requirements.
