Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Systems Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the efficient operation of our financial systems, including data integrity checks, month-end processing, and system configuration.
  • SAP Finance Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP support, providing expert guidance and resolving queries related to SAP transactions and financial processes.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current accounting and financial operations, propose innovative solutions for improvement, and lead the implementation of process enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Act as the key liaison between IT and Finance departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure that financial systems are maintained, updated, and aligned with business goals.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of financial systems and processes, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for both current and new users of SAP, enhancing their ability to utilize the system effectively and confidently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operational accounting and as an SAP Finance key user.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strategic thinker with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train and develop team members.
  • Ability to present to business and technical teams or management in verbal, written and/or visual form, with supporting details.
