About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer/Civil Designer to join our team at CTAInc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating built environments that push the boundaries of cutting-edge design and contribute to thriving communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project plans and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to produce preliminary concepts and drawings
  • Complete cost estimates and research codes and/or jurisdictional requirements
  • Develop positive external and internal client relationships and participate in meetings with either internal or external clients to determine project goals
  • Prepare calculations, technical memorandums, and reports
  • Construction administration including, but not limited to, onsite field observation
Requirements
  • 4 to 10 years of project experience
  • A Professional Engineering License in the State of job posting or other states preferred or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge and skills of AutoCAD Civil 3D, proficient with WaterCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArcGIS, as well as Bluebeam, Outlook, Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with engineering concepts in real-world applications
  • The ability to work independently as a project engineer on various projects
  • Proficiency in technical writing
  • The ability to take small to medium-sized projects from conception to final design with little input from a senior engineer
