POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Residential Manager is responsible for the daily management of the residential program, ensuring effective supervision, guidance, and support for Residential Trainers in delivering essential services to individuals at Chrysalis. This role includes the coordination of the creation and execution of Person Centered Plans, while also addressing the medical, financial, and recreational needs of the residents. The Manager will maintain appropriate staff ratios and oversee training requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proven supervisory experience, the ability to prioritize tasks, and proficiency in completing program documentation accurately and timely are necessary. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment and crisis management skills, as well as effective public relations abilities when interacting with various professionals and state representatives. A flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of clients. The ability to navigate personnel matters positively is also crucial.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Background or education in supporting individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with person centered planning and the capacity to develop and articulate effective goals. Knowledge of state regulations and policies. Proven judgment skills and crisis resolution capabilities. Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate on diverse topics. Competence in managing personnel matters constructively. Participation in managerial meetings. Proficiency in computer applications. Excellent public relations skills for interaction with medical and state professionals. Flexibility to accommodate the needs of individuals served.
