We are seeking a qualified Substitute Nurse to provide direct professional nursing services, first aid, and emergency care to students and staff in response to the nursing assessment and in accordance with professional standards, school policies and procedures, and state and local mandates.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain continuity of care while providing direct professional nursing services to students and staff.
- Provide first aid and emergency care in response to the nursing assessment.
- Adhere to professional standards, school policies and procedures, and state and local mandates.
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current Certification in CPR and knowledge of the use of AEDs.
- Preferred school-based experience.
The hourly rate for a Substitute Nurse is $34.60.
About Our DistrictWe are a comprehensive high school district that focuses on four distinct areas: Academics, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts. Our students enjoy success inside and outside of the classroom through numerous athletic and activities programs.
