Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs. You will also maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation, ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to members.
  • Administer immunizations, providing education and counseling to members on health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation, ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Enforce and provide direction and guidance to Associates on proper Member service approaches and techniques to ensure Member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.

Requirements

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
