Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive patient care to our members. This includes processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members on their health care and prescription medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administer immunizations to members, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Counsel members on their health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Model and enforce company values, promoting a culture of excellence and member satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP) certification.
  • Pharmacy license, obtained by job entry date.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pharmacy operations, patient care, and member service.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
