We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Elmhurst Hospital Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist in the medical diagnosis and assessment of patients.
- Act in compliance with NYC Health + Hospitals, healthcare setting, and other appropriate regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
- Maintain regular contact with physicians and other healthcare personnel by providing information regarding the nature, scheduling, or results of procedures performed within the Ultrasound Department.
- Assist in the conduct of specialized tests and studies.
- Assist in training programs in ultrasonography and instruct other appropriate technical personnel on technical aspects of their routine use.
- Completion of a Sonography or Ultrasound training program from an accredited school.
