Job Summary

This is a challenging yet rewarding role as a Registered Nurse, working in the Assertive Community Treatment Team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care to adults with serious mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the health, social, psychiatric, and medical needs of patients and developing strategies to maximize their well-being.
  • Administering scheduled intramuscular medications and monitoring patients for beneficial effects and side effects.
  • Engaging in health promotion, prevention, and education activities to improve patient outcomes.
  • Completing clinical documentation using collaborative documentation and ensuring services are documented in accordance with SCDMH/QA requirements.
  • Participating in clinical supervision and daily treatment team meetings to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing and two years of experience; or a three-year diploma and two years of experience; or an associate degree in nursing and two years of experience as a registered nurse.
  • One year of experience working with adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and knowledge of psychiatric medications.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language).

Benefits:

  • An estimated salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
