Application Specialist at The Center for Disability Services

The Center for Disability Services is a prominent organization dedicated to providing exceptional programs and services for individuals with disabilities in upstate New York. We are currently in search of an Application Specialist to enhance our operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver user and technical assistance for a range of software applications
  • Examine and resolve issues reported by users
  • Develop and sustain both technical and user documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, and software vendors
  • Support application testing and deployment processes
  • Educate end-users on software features and functionalities
  • Identify potential modifications and improvements to applications
  • Lead small to medium-scale projects
  • Engage in organizational projects and committees
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Application Support
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record Systems is advantageous
  • Basic understanding of SQL, database architecture, server setup, report generation, and data analysis
