Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze specifications and drawings to create accurate cost estimates, considering supply chain challenges and market trends.
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive bids and procurement.
  • Monitor project budgets and make necessary adjustments for profitability.
  • Prepare financial reports and projections for management, highlighting cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain cost estimation tools for efficiency.
  • Guide project teams on budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, trades, and clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Proficiency in Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
  • Ability to analyze drawings and specifications, and prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain client relationships and pricing databases.
  • Collaborate with architects and owners, and lead preconstruction processes.
  • Estimate prices on new projects and change orders.
  • Strong math and analytical skills, with a minimum 3 years of experience on job sites.
  • BS in Construction Management or related degree preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the U.S.
