Position: Biomedical Equipment Technician II

Location: Fort Sam Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety evaluations on medical care and support apparatus
  • Oversee equipment management, service scheduling, and documentation upkeep
  • Address equipment inquiries from clinical units and procure repair components
  • Deliver training to equipment operators and ensure a productive work atmosphere
  • Engage in Quality Improvement initiatives and departmental discussions
  • Work in conjunction with technical staff to resolve device-related challenges
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in electronics or a related discipline is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with clinical apparatus in a healthcare environment
  • Possession of a valid driver's license for roles involving field service
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team
