Position Summary:

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities and personnel related to field operations. This position may be based in the office or operate in a hybrid remote/office capacity.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to Goebel's Core Values and comply with all safety and quality standards.
  • Manage installation supervisors and field staff in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Goebel's travel policies for field personnel.
  • Review and authorize expense reports.
  • Schedule installation supervisors and teams according to project timelines.
  • Recruit and manage installation crews to fulfill project needs.
  • Oversee installation tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Engage and manage subcontractors as necessary to balance workload and resources.
  • Maintain weekly labor and cost reports by project.
  • Achieve installation budget targets.
  • Coordinate with project teams and production for logistical needs.
  • Review and comply with contract documents related to site operations.
  • Conduct small project installations as required.
  • Travel to job sites for safety briefings and quality assessments.
  • Support the weekly activities of installation teams.
  • Promote safety awareness among team members.
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve issues and deficiencies.
  • Foster professional communication within and outside the organization.
  • Mentor and develop team members for growth within the company.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the architectural millwork or store fixture industry.
  • Experience in millwork installation or construction management is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, and Project Management software (MRP/ERP).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret bid documents, specifications, spreadsheets, shop drawings, and blueprints is essential.
  • Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time while managing office responsibilities.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of store fixtures and/or architectural millwork.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A motivated team player who adds value to a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work independently with self-discipline and effective prioritization.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving and cost-saving capabilities.
