Responsibilities:- Conduct intake interviews with clients to assess their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Screen clients for admission and provide orientation to our program.
- Interact with clients in the detox process, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Monitor clients to ensure their safety and enforce facility rules.
- Complete record keeping and answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to provide a supportive team environment.
- Monitor and document client prescription medications.
- Take vital signs and report any concerns to the medical team.
- Ability to maintain professional and ethical boundaries with clients.
- Familiarity with substance abuse and recovery principles, or a willingness to learn.
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work efficiently and switch tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills required for client data entry, timekeeping, and intake and admission duties.
- For shifts that require driving and client transport: must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current driver's license, and be insurable on agency liability policy.
- Must be able to pass Utah-DHS - Office of Licensing background screening and pre-employment drug screen.
