Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals following established policies, procedures, and standards of practice. The RN coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current New York State registration as a Professional Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) validation and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire/transfer
  • One year of medical/surgical experience preferred

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions. Basic computer skills and knowledge of adult learning principles are also essential.
