We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery and Transplant team at UW Health University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients requiring specialized care for cardiac and thoracic surgeries and procedures, heart and/or lung transplants, and various medical devices.
Responsibilities- Deliver care with a mixture of technological expertise and a positive commitment to meeting patient and family needs.
- Be an integral part of a team that provides care for patients in a Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area.
- Ensure care is delivered in accordance with UW Health's standards and policies.
- Permanent address outside 50-mile radius of Madison.
- CVICU experience required.
- Experience and knowledge of NextStage CVVH machine required.
- Two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
- Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital within the last year.
- Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
- WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
- BLS & ACLS certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
- Basic Arrhythmia experience and pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
- UW Health is moving away from using outdated file formats for Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Profiles will need to be submitted in the following format:.docx,.xlsx, and.pptx file types.
