Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve discrepancies in received information and maintain data integrity.
  • Input essential data into multiple databases, documents, or spreadsheets with precision.
  • Establish and maintain case/project files for effective tracking.
  • Oversee the validation and verification processes for case files and data systems.
  • Monitor case file progress to ensure adherence to established timelines.
  • Manage requests for supplementary information as necessary.
  • Extract and compile relevant information to prepare reports, summaries, and responses, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Handle data manipulation, transfer, and printing tasks efficiently.
  • Draft and revise reports and correspondence using word processing software.
  • Provide timely updates on case statuses.
  • Engage with State and Local law enforcement agencies regularly.
  • Support financial administration for the Baltimore Strike Force.
  • Assist personnel with travel authorizations and maintain expenditure logs.
  • Identify and address recurring issues related to travel costs.
  • Process overtime requests for law enforcement personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or High School Diploma/GED with two years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in asset forfeiture or a related law enforcement field.
  • Ability to understand the structure and functions of the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in project and workload management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Competence in reviewing, interpreting, and extracting information from complex documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with advanced skills preferred.
  • Proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
