  • Perform thorough medical evaluations and design treatment plans in accordance with medical guidelines and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about their medical conditions, follow-up care, and preventive measures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and clear medical records that justify diagnoses, treatments, and billing codes.
  • Make appropriate use of pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, and other ancillary services in clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in the implementation of Medical Clinic Process Improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner with State of Colorado upon hire.
  • 2 years of experience as an Advance Practice Nurse.
  • Full prescriptive authority in the state of Colorado upon hire.
  • DEA Registration.
  • National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse (such as ANCC).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Eligible for clinical privileges as determined by the WHS Credentialing and Privileging Department.
