The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our Special Projects Group (SPG) in Portland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transition project management and engineering activities through the design to construction phase.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Prepare client and subcontractor change orders.
  • Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects.
  • Coordinate work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Coach and mentor project team members.
  • Develop project staffing plans to include labor and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.
  • Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred.
  • Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak preferred.
  • Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
  • Basic estimating skills preferred.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial management preferred.
