Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a talented Junior Research Scientist to join a new Center specializing in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in developmental and stem cell biology, focusing on early embryogenesis, organogenesis, tissue stem cell biology, and adult regeneration.
- Collaborate with faculty within the Center and other relevant units on campus to advance research goals.
- Develop and implement research plans, protocols, and procedures to achieve project objectives.
- Analyze and interpret research data, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
The Center is focused on understanding fundamental principles of development and regeneration using both animal models and human tissue.
Research Areas- Early Embryogenesis: Investigate the complex processes involved in early embryonic development, including cell fate determination and tissue patterning.
- Organogenesis: Study the formation and development of organs and tissues, including the role of stem cells and signaling pathways.
- Tissue Stem Cell Biology: Explore the biology of stem cells in adult tissues, including their maintenance, differentiation, and regeneration.
- Adult Regeneration: Investigate the mechanisms of tissue repair and regeneration in adult organisms, including the role of stem cells and other cellular processes.
