About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Jackson Jade Therapy. As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and conducting therapy sessions for children with developmental disabilities and Autism.

About the Caseload

Our caseload predominantly consists of children with varying degrees of developmental disabilities and Autism. Patients may present with:

  • Mild to severe challenges
  • Verbal and nonverbal abilities
  • Significant executive function disorders
  • Infant & pediatric dysphagia, oral sensory-motor & feeding impairments
  • Auditory processing disorders
  • Voice & fluency impairments
  • Cleft lip & palate
  • Hearing impairments
  • Language disorders
  • Articulation & phonological processing impairments
  • AAC devices
  • Impaired ADLs & IADLs
  • Ages ranging from newborn to 21 years old
About You

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to develop appropriate patient plans of care
  • Conduct fun and effective treatment sessions
  • Train and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants on effective treatment methodologies
  • Create safe and positive environments conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of patients
  • Consistently present as reliable and maintain punctual schedules
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the patient's plan of care to conduct treatment consistent with patient goals and objectives
  • Collect and document accurate data
  • Are collaborative with peers and establish professional relationships with patients and their families
  • Will supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
  • Are communicative with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Have experience providing co-treatment sessions with other disciplines
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain a consistent evaluation, supervision, and/or therapy caseload
  • Have experience providing telehealth services
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or equivalent within the State of California
  • Have at least 3 years of pediatric SLP experience
  • Have a reliable computer source to provide telehealth services
  • Have a strong internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing
  • Be proficient in computer skills
