The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Standards Expert to join our team. As a key member of our technical committee, you will represent and promote Littelfuse in various technical committees, influencing standards development and evolution to drive demand for our products. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of circuit protection devices and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business units in participating in standards development and evolution, leveraging professional practices to influence technical committees.
  • Distribute standards-related information and update stakeholders on pertinent developments.
  • Maintain effective relationships with subject matter experts and administrators at key standards organizations.
  • Initiate, revise, and update application notes, datasheets, product catalogues, and white papers related to standards.
  • Analyze existing and upcoming device and equipment-level standards to identify new circuit protection opportunities.
  • Monitor markets of interest and make product recommendations based on standards' needs.
  • Support day-to-day tactical activities, including conformity assessment, follow-up testing, documentation changes, and associate training.
About You
  • BS in a technical discipline (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, etc.).
  • 10+ years of experience in conformity assessment/certification or circuit protection component technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in standards development and technical committee membership.
  • Deep knowledge of engineering.
  • Experience with global manufacturing companies or conformity assessment agencies preferred.
  • Knowledge in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
