Position SummaryBeehive Federal Credit Union is looking for a part-time Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves approximately 28 hours of work per week, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, during midday hours. The compensation for this position is competitive and based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members and prospective members with their inquiries via phone; provide information about products and services while resolving issues within your authority; escalate complex issues to a supervisor with appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain accurate member account information in our computer systems.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling services to members.
- Ensure that all necessary records are kept up to date and required reports are generated.
- Perform duties in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Engage in needs-based selling actively.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned, support other departments as needed, and participate in community events as required.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential.
- A minimum of six months to two years of relevant experience is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.
This position primarily involves sedentary work with limited physical exertion. Occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs may be required. The ability to navigate stairs in emergency situations is necessary. Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including telephones, copiers, and computers, is essential. The role may require extended hours as needed.
Working EnvironmentWork is typically performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment with minimal noise.
