We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing leadership in the integration of new knowledge and innovation within a specialty area.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize specialized knowledge and skills to provide direct care for complex patients with multi-system care issues.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director(s) to lead clinical practice and education on the unit, within the division, and across the health system.
- Design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies.
- Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit/system, local, state, and national levels.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Meets GA Board of Nursing requirements for CNS.
- Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
