Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Analyst II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new systems, enhancing and upgrading existing systems, and optimizing system performance. They will also analyze and diagnose system and process changes, and ensure that system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new systems, enhance and/or upgrade existing systems, and optimize system performance
  • Analyze and diagnose system and process changes
  • Act as the application subject matter expert (SME) when assigned to project teams
  • Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols
  • Work with cross-functional teams and Cooper clients to provide education on system functionality and configuration of new tools to increase end-user productivity
  • Consistently meet project deadlines and go the extra mile to ensure dates are met
Support
  • Serve as a liaison between end-users, subject matter experts, and technical support
  • Provide on-call support 24/7
  • Monitor queues, event logs, and brokers, and perform maintenance as required
  • Monitor interfaces with external systems
  • Create ad-hoc reports per user specifications
  • QA/triage tickets
Testing
  • Develop, plan, and execute testing for supported applications
  • Create and maintain test scripts in support of new installations, projects, and/or system updates
Documentation
  • Maintain support documentation, service desk routing, and knowledge base entries
  • Communicate all necessary application changes, enhancements, and procedures to all necessary internal department teams
  • Document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Application-specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable
Special Requirements
  • RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN
  • Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system
