Job Summary

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse II to join our team. As a Charge Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure patient satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and open communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience with progressive leadership skills.
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State licensure within 60 days.
  • BLS certification (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification.
