Position Summary

We are seeking a diligent and self-motivated individual to join our sanitation team. This role involves minimal supervision and focuses on the cleaning and organization of the sanitation area related to production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in production areas, ensuring safety and organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring readiness for visitors.
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures consistently.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures and Quality programs.
  • Ensure all production utensils and containers are thoroughly cleaned and dried, utilizing both automatic dishwashers and manual washing methods.
  • Restock clean utensils and containers in designated production areas.
  • Wash lab coats, shoe covers, and towels throughout the day, ensuring restocking in the gowning room.
  • Clean production floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and surfaces, maintaining up-to-date cleaning logs.
  • Dispose of all waste in production areas appropriately.
  • Properly sign out supplies from the supply closet and communicate with supervisors regarding low stock.
  • Follow directions from Production Support Tech III, Production Supervisors/Managers, and Quality Assurance.
  • Report any concerns regarding potential nonconforming products or environments to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in mentoring temporary staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Capable of working effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in understanding written and spoken English in relation to work documents and daily operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; this role involves significant physical activity.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
