We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographs of patients using various imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT) scanners.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain quality radiographs of patients within the department and with portable equipment in a timely manner.
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines to ensure patient and self-safety.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently.
- Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS.
- Verify proper charges and referring physician's orders.
- Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain room cleanliness.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents.
- Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS.
- Assist with PACS clean up and maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and patient information.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.
- Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program.
- Active unencumbered CT Tech New Hampshire state license.
- One year of Epic experience.
