Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality radiographs of patients using various imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality radiographs of patients within the department and with portable equipment in a timely manner.
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines to ensure patient and self-safety.
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently.
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS.
  • Verify proper charges and referring physician's orders.
  • Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain room cleanliness.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents.
  • Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS.
  • Assist with PACS clean up and maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and patient information.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech New Hampshire state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
