Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Control Systems Engineer to join our team at G.A.S. Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with site policies and procedures, participating in team environments, and responding to occasional unscheduled callouts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in a team environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with and carry out all site policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Respond to occasional unscheduled callouts to address critical issues and maintain business continuity.
  • Use proper personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate and/or lead causal investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in Site Personal Safety and Process Safety initiatives to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience with hands-on, field experience on control valves design and specifications, control narratives, cause and effect charts, wiring and loop diagrams.
  • Proficiency in PHA-HAZOP would be a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of project work processes, including Management of Change.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Knowledgeable with instrument and electrical documentation and construction installations.
Education and Certifications
  • BS Engineering or Computer Science degree required; Electrical or Chemical preferred.
