Job Title: Principal Engineer-ASIC Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer-ASIC Design to join our team at Microchip Technology, Inc. As a key member of our engineering community, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and verification support of advanced ASICs and FPGAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate full-chip architecture and control/data busses for advanced ASICs and FPGAs
  • Develop and maintain detailed design specifications and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all components on the device
  • Participate in Verilog implementation and integration of full-chip capabilities
  • Support full-chip post-layout timing closure and verification
  • Investigate and assess legacy and emerging integration techniques and on-chip/off-chip network-on-chip (NOC) bus structures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of proven silicon design experience in system-level integration of multiple IP blocks into a full-chip environment
  • Strong technical leadership skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Verilog design and design verification, static timing analysis, and simulation tools
  • Ability to write detailed design specifications and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
