The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Wisconsin, USA. As a Travel Nuc Med Tech, you'll work with top healthcare companies across the US, enjoying contracts from 12 weeks to a year.

About the Role

As a MI SPECT Technologist, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures, locate and record internal elements, and identify anomalies indicative of disease or injury. You'll also serve as a training resource and work with a team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MI SPECT diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols.
  • Locate and record internal elements, identifying any anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  • Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  • Review tests with peers and physicians.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
  • Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
  • Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust or refer for repair.
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation and answer questions.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine technology program.
  • Clinical Nuclear Medicine Technologist background with a minimum of 3 years MI SPECT clinical experience.
  • Siemens or GE experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Siemens C.cam experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment and initiative.
