Optum is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Risk Adjustment team in the lower San Gabriel Valley, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete senior wellness visits at company-owned outpatient facilities and independently contracted physician offices, as well as some home/custodial visits
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Average Daily Patient Census: Up to 16 patients per day
  • We will consider and train new graduates

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited Advanced Practice Clinician Program
  • Unrestricted California Advanced Practice Clinician license or in process
  • Current AANP/ANCC/NCCPA certification
  • Current California DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • EMR Proficient
  • Excellent patient care and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, team player, adaptable to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous HCC experience
  • 1+ years of previous managed care setting experience
  • Fluent or proficient Medical Spanish

California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $109,513 to $147,146. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
