We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Titus Regional Medical Center. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration of patients for treatment at our Urology Clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and make appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Patient Data Collection: Complete all portions of patient registration in our Electronic Health Record system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage to determine patient liabilities, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
- Financial Transactions: Calculate charges and payment due for self-pay patients, and prepare daily reports showing daily collections and verifying deposit information.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality assurance, with a goal of 98% or higher.
- Adherence to Policies: Adhere to and follow all patient experience initiatives, as well as TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Work Experience: At least one year of office experience is preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with patients, staff, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
