Job Overview

Columbus Oncology and Hematology, a leading provider of cancer care, is seeking a highly skilled Medical Preparation Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing compounds and dispensing medications, chemotherapy, and intravenous medications under the guidance of a physician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispense medications, chemotherapy, and IV medications according to physician orders.
  • Verify patient information and proper physician authorization prior to admixing.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, ordering, and patient charge tickets.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Pharmacy Technician License.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting (preferable).
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per annum, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. The estimated annual salary range is $40,000-$50,000.
