Direct Support Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Staff to join our team at Network Human Services. As a key member of our residential care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care, including activities of daily living, socialization, and development of meaningful interpersonal relationships.
- Participate in routine residence maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Document resident and residence electronic health records, including periodic status assessments and daily task analysis charts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care and support to residents.
- Adhere to all community residence policies and procedures, respecting residents' rights and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Medication certification and proficiency in First Aid, CPR, and other resident-specific medical needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Valid Connecticut Driver's License and eligibility for Network, Inc.'s auto insurance.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 1:30pm- 10:00pm, Full-Time (34 hours/week).
