Industrial Assembly Technician (1st Shift)

Ocala, Florida

Job Overview:
Assemble industrial air filtration systems according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze documentation including bills of materials, certificates of compliance, and technical drawings.
  • Verify bills of materials and shortage reports to prepare for the assembly process.
  • Prepare all heatless and capital dryers and filters, including piping, lead checking, and constructing filter package assemblies. Ensure proper labeling of the dryer assembly.
  • Deliver high-quality products within approved time standards to achieve efficiency and productivity targets.
  • Perform limited low-voltage wiring on designated dryers.
  • Utilize basic to advanced shop mathematics, including the conversion of fractions and decimals, and accurately read and interpret a tape measure.
  • Operate various machines and tools, including small hand tools, air, electric and pneumatic tools, pipe threaders, overhead cranes, jib cranes, assembly fixtures, grinders, pipe cutters, drill motors, tape measures, and tubing benders.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and manufacturing procedures.
Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)

Operating hand tools: 1 year (Required)

The majority of the work performed is in a non-climate-controlled steel and concrete block building with cement floors. Frequent exposure to moderate to loud noise, dust, and moving mechanical parts or equipment.
