Job Overview

Position Title: Production Technician

Role Summary: The Production Technician will be responsible for executing tasks based on detailed schedules, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and shop orders. Familiarity with schematics is essential. The role requires a solid understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components commonly utilized in assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze shop orders and related documentation to ascertain necessary requirements.
  • Retrieve components, materials, and supplies from designated staging areas.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch.
  • Proficient in the installation of plumbing components.
  • Skilled in the assembly of basic electrical components.
  • Experience in the assembly and installation of mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Competent in reviewing shop orders and instructions.
