Job Summary:

Uniqlo Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled Alterations Specialist to join our team. As an Alterations Specialist, you will be responsible for altering pants to meet the specific needs of our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrics, sewing, and fashion trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use industrial sewing machines to sew hems of pants
  • Trim excess threads using scissors
  • Measure, cut, and sew hems following seams, edges, or markings on pants
  • Alter pants hemlines to fit individual customers
  • Working knowledge of sewing machines such as lock stitch, blind stitch, and serge machines
Requirements:
  • At least six months prior sewing/fitting experience in an alterations or tailoring department
  • Maintain specified productivity guidelines
  • Strong communication skills, fluency in English mandatory
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekends
