Join Our Team as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital in Berlin. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing psychiatric illnesses.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for new or soon-to-be Registered Nurses to develop a specialty in behavioral health. You will work closely with our experienced team to assess, evaluate, and coordinate care and services for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing individualized nursing care plans
  • Administering prescribed treatments and medications
  • Collaborating with community health services and families
What We Offer

We offer a competitive starting rate, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, this position is eligible for full retirement after 20 years of service in eligible positions, recognizing the challenges of front-line mental health work.

Work Environment

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will primarily work in a clinical setting. You may be required to travel off-site and may be exposed to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and potentially physically and verbally violent patient populations. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
