Job Title: Psychiatrist

Job Summary:

The Wright Center Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching and supervising physicians participating in our residency programs, and contributing to the development of clinical standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Supervise psychiatric nurse practitioners and provide guidance on patient care.
  • Attend administrative and clinic meetings to discuss treatment plans and progress.
  • Develop and maintain clinical standards and policies to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in residency program activities, including precepting residents and leading didactic conferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatric residency program.
  • Current certification by the Board of Psychiatry or possess qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee.
  • DEA certification and valid physician license for the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Previous leadership/administrative experience and strong administrative and team-building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program or graduate medical education administrative experience is highly desired.
