Psychiatric Care Specialist

Job Summary:
The Wright Center Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching and supervising physicians participating in our residency programs, and contributing to the development of clinical standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Supervise psychiatric nurse practitioners and provide guidance on patient care.
- Attend administrative and clinic meetings to discuss treatment plans and progress.
- Develop and maintain clinical standards and policies to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in residency program activities, including precepting residents and leading didactic conferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical standards and policies.
Requirements:
- MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatric residency program.
- Current certification by the Board of Psychiatry or possess qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee.
- DEA certification and valid physician license for the State of Pennsylvania.
- Previous leadership/administrative experience and strong administrative and team-building skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program or graduate medical education administrative experience is highly desired.
