Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and provide appropriate care interventions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other healthcare providers.
  • Present patient care cases in court as required.
  • Work with the treatment team to analyze and interpret patient behavior and develop effective care plans.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited graduate program in psychiatric nursing.
  • Massachusetts licensure as an advanced practice nurse.
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Association and recognition to practice in an expanded role by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years advanced clinical practice in psychiatric nursing.
Working Conditions

This role requires exposure to infectious diseases, physical and/or verbal abusiveness, and rotating shifts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided when indicated.
