**Responsibilities**

* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

* Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections.

* Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost control or revenue enhancement.

* Support the development and monitoring of the annual budget, collaborating with department heads to prepare and manage their budgets effectively.

* Maintain and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.

* Assist in the coordination of audits, ensuring that all documentation and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

* Work closely with the Controller to improve financial processes and systems.

* Provide financial insights and support to the practice's leadership team to aid in decision-making.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a healthcare setting.

* Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial regulations.

* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
