The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is seeking enthusiastic and sociable individuals to work part-time as a Café Service Associate in our Café. We provide flexible scheduling options and opportunities for cross-training in various roles within the hotel industry.

As a Café Service Associate, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing a warm welcome and personalized service to all patrons.
  • Assisting customers with their orders and recommending daily specials.
  • Preparing a variety of food and beverages, including fruit drinks and coffee specialties.
  • Maintaining the presentation of food items and notifying the kitchen for restocking needs.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of all equipment, including the espresso machine and countertops throughout your shift.
  • Clearing and sanitizing tables as they become available.
  • Checking the cleanliness and presentation of all dining ware before use.
  • Utilizing point of sale and inventory management software.
  • Having comprehensive knowledge of the hotel’s services, operating hours, and local attractions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Availability to work from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
  • Familiarity with crafting lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Reliability and consistent attendance.
  • Willingness to learn and assist in other hotel areas as required.
  • Possession or ability to obtain a food safety handling certificate.
