The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is seeking enthusiastic and sociable individuals to fill the role of Café Service Associate in our Café. We provide adaptable work schedules and opportunities for cross-training in various roles within the hotel industry.

As a Café Service Associate, your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and delivering personalized service to all patrons.
• Assisting customers by taking orders and recommending daily specials.
• Preparing a variety of food and beverages, including fruit drinks and coffee specialties.
• Organizing food displays and notifying the kitchen for restocking needs.
• Maintaining cleanliness of all equipment, including the espresso machine and countertops throughout your shift.
• Clearing and sanitizing tables as they become available.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all dining ware before use.
• Utilizing point of sale and inventory management software.
• Being knowledgeable about the entire property, including services, operational hours, and local attractions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:

• Prior experience in a similar capacity.
• Availability to work from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
• Familiarity with crafting lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Reliability and consistent attendance.
• A willingness to learn and assist in other hotel areas as required.
• Possession or ability to obtain a food safety handling certificate.
