What you'll be responsible for:
Circle seeks a proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team.
In this essential role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and refining our financial forecasting models.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to update our models and conduct scenario analyses that yield critical insights for our leadership.
Your contributions will also include preparing our quarterly analyses and forecasts for the board of directors, collaborating directly with the CFO to shape the analyses and messaging.
What you'll work on:
- Update and enhance Circle's long-term, three-statement financial model, offering insights into variances and key drivers of our financial metrics, including EBITDA, Net Income, and Cash flow.
- Conduct scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making from a financial perspective.
- Develop and design monthly reports that assess the company's financial health.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Manage entity-level models.
- Create models necessary for regulatory reporting or new licensing.
- Contribute to the implementation and utilization of forecasting tools.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to comprehend our financial outcomes, analyze variances, and refine our forecasts.
- Play a significant role in crafting quarterly financial presentations for the board of directors and investors in direct partnership with the CFO.
- Support the advancement of Circle's financial capabilities by participating in ERP and EPM implementation processes and actively seeking to enhance financial processes across the organization.

What you'll bring to Circle:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial modeling, ideally within an investment bank, asset management firm, or management consulting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and the interplay of financial statements, with the ability to construct dynamic three-statement models.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, utilizing these tools effectively to derive meaningful financial insights.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative startup environment characterized by rapid change and evolution.
- Capability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver financial insights and enhance understanding of financial results and forecasts.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness, emphasizing a team-oriented approach that prioritizes client and customer satisfaction.
- A Bachelor's degree, providing a solid academic foundation in finance and/or accounting.
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack and Apple MacOS, and a passion for the potential of blockchain technology.

Starting pay is influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and organizational needs.
Please note that compensation ranges may vary for candidates in different locations.Base Pay Range:
$102,500-$137,500

Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). Circle offers a discretionary vacation policy.
We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
