Certified Sterile Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at AdventHealth Fish Memorial. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are safe for use in patient care.
- Prepare and assemble instrument trays and equipment sets according to count sheets and surgeon preferences.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and other departments to ensure timely delivery of sterilized instruments and equipment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.
- Two years of experience in a Sterile Processing or surgical related field preferred.
